This event is exclusive to members, and in response to the lively discussions within the group about the feasibility and future trends of prefabricated housing, ABPA arranged a visit to learn about modular housing projects. 6Homes entered the modular housing market in 2018, engaging in local design, overseas production, local assembly, and approvals. On the day of the visit, William, the company's director, shared the advantages, disadvantages, and local challenges of using prefabricated housing.
Over 20 corporate members attended the visit to learn. Many questions were raised about the materials, approvals, and installation processes for prefabricated housing. William patiently answered them, and attendees expressed their anticipation for the industry's future prospects. They left with a deeper understanding of the potential for utilizing this construction method for development in Victoria.
